The AI AOS  control system is a highly evolved closed control system that is managed through an operator touch screen panel (HMI).
The operator's touch screen provides an interface for the initial system setup, health, status, control functions, and alarms

Operation can be fully automatic, operator initiated, or fully manual. In the fully automatic mode, the plant schedules startup and shutdown times; the system will subsequently operate without any operator intervention.  The system readily accommodates day-to-day variations in operating schedule.  Even CIPs can be scheduled.

The operator selects the operation.  When Auto is selected, the system will operate in accordance with the selected schedule. When any other operating mode is selected, operation proceeds according to the mode program.
